What is the materials of the htv applied on?

HTV--Heat Transfer Design is high frequency use and can be applied to a variety of materials in the field of apparels. Commonly, heat transfers are used on fabrics like cotton, polyester, nylon, as well as materials like rayon and cupro . It can also adhere to non-fabric surfaces, including  leathers, plastics and planted blend Fabrics: Cotton: 100% cotton and cotton spandex blends are quite good and popular choices for HTV applications due to their features to withstand high heat and absorb the melting glue backside which allows for vibrant and durable designs of heat transfer.      Polyester: Polyester and polyester blends, especially athletic wear fabrics, are also suitable for our heat transfer logos.  Blends: Many HTV products are designed to work with cotton-polyester blends, which are common in apparel.  Nylon and Rayon: These fabrics can also be used with HTV, like rayon haren pants.   Mesh fabric: As it is quite thin and small holes on the mesh fabric, usually it is not good for htv, but we develop htv for it and perfect for it holding.                 Non-Fabric Surfaces: Wood and bamboo: HTV can be used to create designs on wood surfaces when the surface is suitable for heat transfer machine to use. . Leather: silicone heat transfer can be applied to leather goods to make the patches more texture.         Rubber: new application the rubber glove which fit perfect for the designs.             Important Considerations: Material Compatibility: When selecting our heat transfers, it's important to consider the specific type of material it's designed to adhere to, as some HTV is formulated for different fabric types or non-porous surfaces. Before the big order, it is better to get samples to make the test.   Heat Resistance: Always check the surface’s heat tolerance to ensure it can withstand the heat required for HTV application.  Pre-washing: Pre-washing fabrics, especially cotton, can help prevent shrinkage after HTV application.

How to prepare artwork for printing?

Proper preparation of the artwork for printing is essential for a high-quality end result for your branding products. . Whether you are designing branded t-shirts with print or  promotional clothing, make sure you take care of the correct design parameters first. Format, color mode and resolution are of great importance for the final appearance of the print. In our guide, you will find key information to help you prepare your file according to the requirements of the heat transfer logos. Creating a file for printing – general rules What does it mean in practice that a file must be properly created for printing? The most important aspect  is the correct file format, color mode and resolution. we usually require files in PDF, AI, EPS or CDR format, as they ensure high quality and correct color and detail reproduction. For screen printing, AI file in vector will be perfect form, and for digital printing, png file without background will be great to print.  What is the difference between AI vector and PNG file ? Vector and PNG  are two basic types of image files that differ in the way they are constructed. A vector graphic consists of mathematical curves, so it can be scaled big  without loss of quality of the pictures. A PNG , on the other hand, consists of pixels and can lose sharpness when enlarged. Sometimes it is necessary to convert a png file into vector graphics, i.e. vectorization, we have to redraw it by adobe illstrator to make it to be vector to fit the printing machine.  However, vectorization/redraw can distort the original appearance of the graphic, especially if the design has complex shapes or low resolution. The best solution is that when you are making the design, you put out high-quality files – the higher the resolution of the original designs, the easier it is to vectorize it. If the file is too small, the graphic designer often has to recreate the design from scratch. The reverse process to vectorization is rasterization, i.e. converting a vector file into a bitmap. This is a simple process and usually comes down to saving the file in the appropriate raster format. Png vs. vector file – when to use each? Are you wondering when to choose a PNG and when to choose a vector file? Here are some tips: Vector graphics – ideal for logos, icons, illustrations and texts-simple designs. It does not lose quality when scaled. Recommended for screen printing, laser cutting logos, embroidery, embossing. The most common file formats are CDR, AI, EPS, etc. whatever enlarge, the design is still clear. Png file – used for photos and images with a lot of detail and shading, but has a limited resolution. High-resolution png files are accepted for digital printing on T-shirts  The easy solution is to prepare designs as vector graphics, especially if you are planning large-format printing. The best file format for this is PDF, CDR or AI. For png , it is assumed that the final format should have a high minimum resolution – 300 dpi.  PNG filw without background CMYK vs. RGB – which color mode to choose for digital printing? When to use CMYK and when to use RGB? CMYK – better color reproduction, therefore the standard in printing. We use this for screen printing. RGB – used on computer screens, when made in dtf heat transfer logo  Pantone Solid color  – for prints on gadgets and textiles which ensures greater color precision. With following the guide, will  avoid problems with print files and achieve excellent visual results to make heat transfer logo.  If you want to be sure that your project has been prepared in accordance with all standards, you can contact us. How to avoid dye migration when heat transfer on the clothing?

What is dye migration and what causes it? Dye migration is the movement of dye from a dyed fabric like t-shirt to another material (heat transfer logo) in contact with the dyed material. It often happens on polyester and poly/cotton blend fabric and other garments when the garments heats on transfer logos, causing the dye in the garment to sublimate. The color of the fabric “bleeds” through the ink or transfer that was applied to the garment. Because of pursuing the healthy life of mordern people ,the growing popularity of athleisure and performance wear in the sporting goods industry, the garments containing materials that present a challenge to the apparel decorating community more and more. In regards to printing , heat transfer printing is most popular and easy wayt to add the logos on the clothing, so the need to avoid dye migration to be required. 100% polyester, moisture wicking apparels are the needs of people, which adds trouble to the printing mix because of the active dyes materials used during that specific dying the fabric, expecially the black fabrics. That means, when you use the screen printing heat transfer logo , the apparel dyes tend to “migrate” through the finished logo that was added to the garment, like the black dots. For example, the white numbers on the black fabric end up being grey instead of white.  This is known as dye migration How avoid dye migration?  Getting some solutions to prevent and pretest for dye migration can be crucial to achieve agood quality print for clothing. The dye migration may not be visible immediately after heat transfer process, and it  will become visible within several days after the decorating process occurs. Dye migration is a big issue, but there are several ways that it can be handled so that it doesn’t happen, or so that it is not noticeable. 1. Back the design with an antimigration layer.  The most regular and effective way to prevent the bleeding in the ink is to back the design with an extra antimigration layer, preferably a black color. The double layer and the dark color may not entirely “block” the dye migration from happening, but the bleeding will not be visible to the eye because of the darker color being used, especially when used on a lighter color of apparel. Colors such as black, navy, or dark green for example, are great backing colors that help conceal the dye migration. This can be used as an extra process of the making heat transfer logos If you are confused on what we mean as a backing color, we are referring to the order of colors printed during the screen printing process. Here it is the backside with antimigration layer added Here it is the backside without antimigration layer added, the backside is white. Effect after heat transfer 2. Use Heat Transfer Vinyl to Prevent.         Effect after heat transfer 3. Use 3D silicone to make the logo thick to prevent the dye sublimation.  Even with transfers that have a dye-blocker or change to quality of the heat transfer , there are times that dye migration can’t be avoided. When you start to make clothing heat transfer logos, it is necessary to make the test befor bulk production.  Even though testing may not be an actual answer to prevent dye migration, it will prevent you from giving your customer a bad batch of decorated apparel. It is always good to test beforehand so you don’t ruin a large run of clothing and get an unhappy customer. We offer samples of all of our heat transfer types that you can use to test your specific apparel and colors that you are printing your design on in free.

What is the difference between CMYK screen printing and pantone color screen printing

What is the difference between CMYK screen printing and spot color screen printing ? There are two types of the screen printing heat transfer logo technique when we made the bulk productions of heat transfer logos.  1:SPOT COLOUR SCREEN PRINTING The most regular screen printing technique is spot colour screen printing. Spot colour screen printing uses the specific colour ink  by printing it through the stencil of the silk mesh. This technique produces a vibrant solid spot of colour. It is much simpler and faster to use as compared to other screen printing methods. It can be an excellent option for printing the special color, like pantone color and some silver, gold colors.  2: CMYK (4-COLOR PRINTING) This is the more complex than the spot color screen printing for silk printing mould open.  It involves the four basic colours – cyan, magenta, yellow and black. There are value of the each colors, like the color below with CMYK value. With following these values, the colors will be as close as per the design file. These four colours are combined to produce the required colour tones. It can be done manually but preferably should be done automatically for best results.  The difference between CMYK screen printing and spot color screen printing lies in their mould opening, color application methods, ink types, and suitability for different designs. Here's a structured breakdown: 1. Opening Silk Mould Creation Method: CMYK (Process Color): Uses four translucent inks (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) layered to create a spectrum of colors through subtractive mixing. Ideal for photorealistic or gradient-rich designs with digital explore the designs. No limited for the gang sheeting of the printing film.  Example: Printing a sunset photo with blended oranges and purples. Spot Color: Employs pre-mixed, opaque inks (e.g., Pantone-matched) applied individually, max color quantity to be 5 different colors.  . Each color uses a separate screen, ideal for solid, bold designs and some special color like florescent color Example: A corporate logo with specific brand colors in pantone. 2. Ink Characteristics: CMYK: Requires semi-transparent inks for color blending. There is   a white underbase  to adding a screen. Spot Color: Uses opaque inks, often vibrant and precise, suitable for metallics or neon shades. 3. Screen and Cost Efficiency: CMYK: Fixed 4–5 screens (including underbase), cost-effective for complex, multi-colored designs. Spot Color: One screen per color; economical for designs with ≤2 colors but costly for many colors. 4. Design Suitability: CMYK: Best for detailed, full-color artwork (e.g., photographs) but less vibrant on dark fabrics. s Spot Color: Optimal for solid colors, sharp lines, and exact color matching. 5. Color Accuracy and Registration: CMYK: Prone to registration issues (misaligned screens) and limited in reproducing bright/neon hues. Spot Color: Delivers precise, consistent colors without blending; easier registration. Colors will come out more precisely.  So Choose CMYK for detailed, full-color artwork. Opt for Spot Color for bold, brand-specific, or metallic/neon shades.
