Personized 40s Combed Jersey Tshirt

Here’s the step-by-step process for custom T-shirt making , from idea to finished product.

1. Design Creation

  • Create or prepare your artwork (logo, text, image, etc.).
  • Formats: AI, PDF, PSD, PNG (high resolution, at least 300 DPI). We offer design making also without charging
  • Keep in mind: the design's complexity, number of colors, and size.

2. Choosing the Blank T‑Shirt

  • Select the base garment (style, color, fabric, brand).
  • Fabric options: 100% cotton, cotton-poly blend, tri-blend, polyester (for sports).
  • Styles: Crew neck, V-neck, raglan, tank top, long sleeve, polo.
  • Colors: Any color – but consider contrast with the ink/print.

3. Selecting the Printing Method

The most critical production decision.

Method Best For Pros Cons
Screen Printing Bulk orders (50+ pieces), solid color designs Durable, vibrant colors, low per-unit cost High setup fee, not for complex gradients
DTG (Direct to Garment) Small batches (1–50 pieces), photo‑realistic, many colors No setup fee, great detail, any color Slower per piece, darker shirts need pretreatment
Heat Transfer / Vinyl Small runs, names/numbers, lettering Low startup cost, easy for single pieces Can peel over time, less breathable
Sublimation All-over prints, polyester shirts No feel, never fades or cracks Only works on light polyester, expensive setup
Embroidery Logos on chest/hats (polos, premium wear) Professional, durable Limited detail, higher co

4. Pre‑Production (Proofing)

  • Mock‑up: A digital preview of the design on the chosen shirt color.

  • Sample approval: For larger runs, get a physical sample (1 piece) made first.

  • Check: Print placement, size, color accuracy, and feel.

5. Production

  • Setup: Screens are burned (screen printing), printer ink loaded (DTG), or transfers cut (vinyl).

  • Printing: Shirts are placed on a press or platen; the design is applied.

  • Curing/Fixing: Ink is heat‑set (using a conveyor dryer or heat press) to make it wash‑fast.

    6. Quality Control & Finishing

  • Inspect each shirt for misprints, off‑center designs, or defects.
  • Remove loose threads (for embroidery).Fold and pack (often individually bagged).
  • Customized hangtag and opp bag service

    7. Shipping / Delivery

      • Pack orders according to quantity (boxes, poly mailers).
      • Ship via courier / postal service.
      • Provide tracking information.
